Ich lese und verstehe immer nur Comics . Was soll das heißen ? Der achte Band erscheint als Comic ? Eigentlich sehr absurd . Oder soll der achte Teil nur unter einem Comic Verlag erscheinen ? Klingt auch irgendwie seltsam . Ich weiß nicht was ich generell davon halten soll, dass die Geschichte doch noch fortgesetzt wird .
Erstmal einmal abwarten, ob an der Meldung was dran ist .

Mit eighth volume könnte aber durchaus auch "nur" ein achter Beitrag zum Zyklus gemeint sein, z. Bsp. eine Episode aus dem Leben Rolands, und nicht gleich ein komplett neuer Roman.

Sorry, aber irgendwie halte ich da nichts von.
Wenn überhaupt könnte man die gesamte Turm-Reihe als Comic-Film produzieren. Oder vielleicht komplett Computer animiert.
Aber nur einen kleinen Comic können die sich echt schenken.

Zuerst war ich nicht überzeugt von der Idee, "Dem dunklen Turm" in einer Comic-Version zu begegnen, aber vor allem weil es zuerst den Anschein hatte, dass das Ganze am Ende anknüpft. Da ich aber soeben gelesen habe, dass es eventuell eine ganze Comic Reihe wird, die dazuhin noch Rolands Leben wiedergibt, bevor wir ihn richtig kennen lernten (also vermutlich: seine Jugend, erste Ausbildungschritte, vielleicht auch Jericho Hill etc.) finde ich das Ganze wieder interessant und warte freudig darauf

Ich wollte immer, dass nochmal in Rolands Vergangenheit gegangen wird. An die Form hätte ich jetzt nicht gedacht, aber warum denn nicht?

So wie es in den heutigen news steht, wird es wohl eine ganze reihe.
Die ersten Ausschnitte sehen schn sehr gut aus. Mir gefällt vorallem die verschiedenen licht-und-schatten-effekte, ähneln sehr dem stil von Whelan.
