Von Locke & Key gibts eine signed edition - Sparrow. Ist da was über die "Auflage" bekannt?
Vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen, habe nichts gefunden!
Was ist eigentlich mit dem deutschen Hill-Forum los, das ist seit letzten Jahr tot. Gibts da ein alternatives gutes Forum?

Ich habe jetzt Black Box in der Restekiste bei Thalia gefunden und gleich mitgenommen.
Die ersten Strorys schon durch, liest sich ganz gut. Bin gerade mitten in der KG über den aufblasbaren Art. Nach zwei Seiten dachte ich "Häää...???", nach vier Seiten "Was ist das für ein Mist?", nach sechs Seiten "ähm... interessant..." und nach paar weiteren Seiten "Wie geil ist das denn?". Hab sie (und natürlich das Buch) noch nicht durch, ist aber von den bisher gelesenen die beste.

Nun habe ich die Buchmitte erreicht.
Meine Top 3 bisher :
1. Pop Art
2. 20th Century Ghosts
3. Der Gesang der Heuschrecken
Der Rest ist teilweise gut, teilweise schwach.
Bin auf die zweite Buchhälfte gespannt.
Glaube aber nicht, dass Pop Art vom Platz 1 verdrängt werden kann. Die Geschichte ist sowas von genial, noch zwei Tage nach dem lesen geht sie mir nicht aus dem Kopf raus :!:

Harry Potter star Dan Radcliffe has chosen his next role, and this time it's another fantasy film, but nothing like Harry Potter. Dan will play the lead role in an adaptation of Joe Hill's (son of Stephen King) book, Horns.
Dan has been cas[t] in the role of Ig Perrish, the primary suspect in the investigation of his girlfriend's brutal rape and murder. The fantasy aspect comes into play when Ig wakes up from a night of drinking only to find a set of horns growing out of his head. The horns on Ig's head come with a special ability, though. They make people confess to their sins and give in to selfish impulses, something he uses to his advantage in looking for his girlfriend.

Jetzt habe ich sie fast durch und bin enttäuscht. In der zweiten Buchhälfte fand ich keine Geschichte die mich angesprochen hat. Allerdings habe ich erst paar Seiten von Black Box durch, der Rest kommt noch, allerdings wird es am Gesamturteil nicht viel ändern. Mein "Testurteil": In einem KG-Band gehören mehr als drei bis vier gute Storys, dieses Buch hier fand ich wirklich schwach, sowohl inhaltlich als auch stilistisch ist es nichts für mich. Unter diesen Umständen überlege ich ernsthaft, ob ich mir "Blind" überhaupt besorgen werde.

Nun habe ich auch die letzte KG gelesen und fand sie recht gut. Am Gesamturteil ändert sich nicht viel :roll:

Bin schon auf die Verfilmung von Horns (dt. Teufelszeug)gespannt, das habe ich nämlich vor ein paar Tagen gelesen und fand es gut. Manchmal witzig,manchmalnicht, auf jeden Fall unterhaltsam. Wenn der Film nach Deutschland kommt, gehe ich ihn mir anschauen (obwohl ich eigentlich kein Film-Mensch bin).

Already a hot project, the film version of Joe Hill’s best-selling novel HORNS has just gotten even more interesting with today’s addition of three new additions (possibly four) to the cast.
Word came down this afternoon that Juno Temple (pictured, soon to be seen in the horror-tinged lesbian romance JACK & DIANE), Joe Anderson from THE RUINS and THE CRAZIES and Kelli Garner are set to join THE WOMAN IN BLACK’s Daniel Radcliffe in HORNS. THE DARKEST HOUR’s Max Minghella is also in negotiations to take a key role. Directed by Alexandre Aja of HIGH TENSION and the HILLS HAVE EYES remake from a script by IN TREATMENT’s Keith Bunin, HORNS stars Radcliffe as Ig Perrish, who is suspected of having assaulted and murdered his girlfriend Merrin (Temple). After a night of heavy drinking, Ig wakes up to discover horns growing out of his head, and soon discovers they give him the ability to elicit confessions from people of their darkest secrets—and uses this power to uncover the real killer and exact revenge. Shooting on the movie, a production of Red Granite Pictures and Mandalay Pictures, is set to begin this fall.
