Naja, ein unsigniertes Chapbook, das hat einen Wert von ... 5.- gbp.
Das finde ich interessant. Obwohl man hohe pto kosten bezahlt verschicken die wohl unversichert.

Aber das mit dem unversicherten Versand war schon bei meiner letzten Bestellung dort so.

Ein paar Leute kenne ich die alle 3 Ausgaben bestellt haben.
Ich muss aber klar sagen, ich gebe nicht 450$+pp für ein Buch aus das ich noch nicht gesehen habe. Natürlich kann man das Geld zurückbekommen wenn einem das Buch nicht gefällt...
aber... für das Geld würde ich mir definitiv ein anderes
INTERESSANTERES s/l SK Buch kaufen oder einfach ein Jahr warten
und dann Shining s/l auf dem ´zweitmarkt´ günstiger kaufen :mrgreen:

Der neue Coverartist soll wohl nächsten Monat bekannt gegeben werden.

Jetzt ist es endlich offiziell. Gabriel Rodriguez ist als Coverartist zum Glück ersetzt worden.
So sieht das neue Cover aus, das von .... ist.

The Shining is coming. Here are a bunch of updates on our most anticipated title this year.
- Vincent Chong has turned in all of the art for our special edition, which is now fully-designed and going through a final round of proofreading. Vinny will also be doing a very limited number of remarques for us. We'll post details in the coming weeks on how you can add one to your limited edition.
- Last week, we held a production meeting at which we selected the cloth for the Gift Edition and its slipcase, as well as the marbled paper and cloth for the Signed, Limited Edition. Soon, we'll consult with our specialty binder about the materials for the Lettered Edition.
- Vinny sent us dozens of rough sketches to go through for the bonus chapbook, which should come together in the next couple of weeks.
- Finally, we've just ordered a very limited number of in house proofs, so we can show Steve King our progress on the book, and incorporate any input he might have.

Ich mag The Shining überhaupt gar nicht.
Ich finde es langweilig.... die ewigen Visionen und Erscheinungen... am Interessantesten ist da noch Hallorans Versuch, noch rechtzeitig von Floria nach Colorado zu kommen. Ich weiss nicht genau, warum ich es so langweilig finde - aber nach der gefühlten 3000. Beschreibung der Ballroom-Szene wollte ich das Buch am liebsten weglegen. Ich glaube generell liegt MIR die Kammerspiel-Atmosphäre nicht so.
Ich bin aber ganz allgemein kein Fan des "alten" King, also seiner Schaffensphase in den 70ern und 80ern (wobei es da auch Ausnahmen gibt aber ganz grob gesagt bevorzuge ich den King seit den späten 90ern...).
